Study Name: Towards Better Understanding of ALS using a Multi-Marker Discovery Approach from a Multi-Modal Database (ALS4M)
Study Acronym: ALS4M
Study PI(s): Xing Song, PhD
Purpose: A multi-marker (biomarker, clinical marker, geo-marker, socio-marker) discovery algorithm based on our established ensemble embedded feature selection (EEFS) framework and apply it to the integrated multi-modal database to discover a) novel modifiable risk factors, b) new symptomatic patterns for early diagnosis, and c) effective clinical care pathways for ALS.
