2023 Spring GPC LEC
Greater Plains Collaborative (GPC) team would like to invite you to our 2023 Learning Engagement Conference being held Wednesday, May 10th through Thursday, May 11th in Kansas City at the Kauffman Foundation Conference Center! Each year the GPC Clinical Research Network (CRN) holds a gathering of patients, patient advocates and caregivers, along with the academic leaders from each GPC site. We are excited to announce that our conference will again be held in-person this year! GPC representatives use this conference to meet with one another for discussion on current GPC activities and future goals. This is also a great opportunity for patients and other stakeholders to learn about PCORnet, the CRN program, and the GPC in general. Many patients and stakeholders became interested in our initiatives after the conferences and subsequently joined GPC activities. We learned that GPC partners who attended the Learning Engagement Conference could more fully understand what PCORnet is all about, which is critical for full participation and contribution.
Additionally, the GPC will be holding a half-day meeting with Oracle/Cerner Federal customers (Veteran’s Administration and DoD) on Friday, May 12th to cultivate relationships and identify opportunities for collaboration. GPC investigators are welcome to attend and invite their VA researchers to the workshop.
